How to update your device firmware
Keeping your Shelly device up to date ensures you have the latest features, security patches, and bug fixes.
There are two easy ways to update the firmware: via the web interface or the Shelly app.

From the WebInterface
- Open a browser and go to the device’s IP address (e.g.
http://192.168.x.x) - Go to the Settings menu
- Scroll down and click Firmware Update
- If a new version is available, press Update and wait for the process to complete
(The device will reboot automatically)
From the Shelly App
- Open the Shelly app
- Find and select your device
- Tap the Device Settings (gear icon)
- Select Firmware Update
- If an update is available, tap Update Now
